WhatsApp has a new “Voice Message Transcripts” feature. It makes it easier to catch up on voice messages. This feature converts voice messages to text. It helps users stay connected in busy environments or when they can’t listen.

WhatsApp New Feature Languages:
The feature will launch in a few languages, including English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Russian.
It will expand globally in the coming weeks. WhatsApp plans to offer other languages in the future. Transcripts may not be available if the language settings do not match the voice message. They may also be unavailable due to background noise.
Also, only the receiver can view the audio message. The sender does not have permission to view it.

Enable Voice To Text Feature:
To enable the feature, go to Settings > Chats > Voice Message Transcripts and activate it. Once enabled, users can transcribe any voice message by long-pressing on it and selecting the “Transcribe” option.
Important Note: Transcription does not start automatically for all voice messages. It must be started manually.
How To See Voice Message Transcripts:
- Enable voice message transcripts on your device.
- Tap and hold a voice message, then tap Transcribe.
- Tap in the voice message to reveal more of the transcription.
